Why Do They Keep Doing It?

The Scandal Clause (c2020) slaps out reactions, judgments, opinions—lots of them, especially about sex. That’s the purpose–to get your opinions hot, your blood boiling, and your mind asking questions.

Dr. John Russell, world-renowned neurosurgeon with clients all over the globe, is determined to avoid even a whisper of sexual scandal in his practice. Too many prominent men have been ruined by their sexual appetites, and he sure doesn’t plan to be one of them.

So how does this rich, highly eligible bachelor, and global neurosurgeon devise a plan to keep even the hint of sexual impropriety from his doorstep?

He creates the “Scandal Clause.”

The clause is a small part of a bigger contract. He’s looking for an executive nurse to work in the operating room and alongside him in his global travels. No big deal–except…

…it’s a sex on demand (with Dr. Russell, of course) contract clause.

Laura Greenwald is shocked at the sex demands. But she is charmed by Dr. Russell, bored to tears at her current job, and hesitantly enticed by the huge salary and glamorous travel. She accepts the job, completely naive to the complex life beginning to unfold in front of her

Is Dr. Russell an over-sexualized male chauvinist?

Or is Russell a professional who wants to avoid ruinous sexual scandals?

Is Laura a prostitute for having sex as part of her job?

Or is she a cutting edge professional managing sex in the workplace?

But the biggest, baddest, most confounding question of all is:

Why do incredibly powerful male leaders keep on getting involved in absolutely ruinous sex scandals? They see hundreds of other men ruin their lives and careers. What’s wrong with them? Why do they keep doing it!!??

Don’t you wonder about these questions?

I sure did.
